Surrounded By A Rainbow Of Paintings, Tanya Taylor Spends Her Summer At Hanpton

Vibrant prints, all in-house, are at the heart of Tanya Taylor’s dopamine-inducing brand. The versatile designer brought the happy spirit of her brand to life on Thursday night with an intimate dinner at her beautiful home in East Hampton, New York.

Before the meal, guests sipped Clase Azul Tequila Margaret and whispered to each other in the spacious side yard, “For the past three weeks, I’ve been painting with my family,” Taylor explained in her welcome speech, “And we’re donating all of our art to the city’s public schools. We’ve been working with Publicolor for a long time, so when we all go back next season, we can spread some really great colors around New York City.”

But by the end of the summer, Taylor and her guests, including an all-star lineup of bright, ambitious women from Chelsea Clinton to Glamour’s Samantha Bary, spend time relaxing in the designer’s front yard and enjoying an open-air candlelight dinner. Also present were Huma Abedin, Elizabeth Kurpis, Rickie de Sole and Natalie Massenet. The three-course meal, prepared by West ~ Bourne’s renowned chef Camilla Marcus, features a completely plant-based dish, served with elegant Misette cutlery, including a heady zucchini and a hundred-flower bukattini.

Taylor goes on to explain, “It means a lot to me that there are so many women around this table.” You’ve been very helpful. You made me feel confident and inspired.” It was clear that the feeling was mutual, as the guests chatted enthusiastically over an intimate dinner.
